  • 12 cooked lasagna noodles
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 60 g breadcrumbs
  • 25 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 120 g ricotta cheese
  • 170 g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 480 ml marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C and grease a large baking dish with olive oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into small meatballs and brown them in a skillet over medium heat for about 8–10 minutes.
  4. Lay each cooked lasagna noodle flat and spread a thin layer of ricotta cheese on top. Place 2–3 meatballs at one end and roll tightly.
  5. Pour half of the marinara sauce into the baking dish. Arrange the roll-ups seam-side down and cover with the remaining sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is golden.
