  • 13.8-ounce tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut black olives into small pieces for eyes and slice the red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough on a clean surface and cut it into 12 strips, rolling each into a 12-inch rope. Taper one end for a tail and flatten the other for a head.
  4. Wrap each dough rope around a wooden chopstick or metal straw, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with poppy seeds and sesame seeds.
  5. Place olive pieces on the heads for eyes.
  6. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheets for 11 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before removing chopsticks.
  7. Insert red bell pepper pieces into the tips of each snake for tongues.
